A simple route to expert care for valuable rugs
For Ascot, Absolutely Fabulous Persian & Oriental Rug Cleaning offers an appointment-based collection and return service for Persian, Oriental, silk and antique rugs. Established in 1989, we have extensive experience caring for valuable and delicate rugs.
Once collected from your home, your rug is taken to our dedicated facility for thorough dust removal, specialist washing and controlled drying. The cleaning process is carefully selected according to the rug’s fibres, dyes, age and overall condition.
We provide more than just rug cleaning. Our additional services include fibre protection, pet stain and odour treatment, moth treatment, rug pads and underlay, and rug storage. If your rug is worn or damaged, we can also provide specialist rug repairs, including fringe repairs, side cord repairs and re-weaving, helping to restore and care for your rug for years to come.
Frequently asked questions
Do you collect rugs from homes in Ascot?
Yes, we provide free collection and return in Ascot and all SL5 postcodes. We visit by appointment, move furniture where needed, lift and roll the rug carefully and transport it to our facility, then bring it back and re-lay it in your home after specialist cleaning.
Can you clean silk and antique rugs in Ascot?
Yes, those are among the rug types we focus on most. Valuable silk, antique, Persian and Oriental rugs usually benefit from the slower, more controlled handling that off-site specialist cleaning allows, especially where dyes or fibres need extra care.
Can treatment options be added after cleaning?
Yes, where suitable we can discuss aftercare options such as protection or moth treatment alongside specialist cleaning. The right route depends on the rug type, condition and what you want to achieve, so we talk this through once we know more about the piece.
