Specialist rug cleaning for homes in Marlow
Absolutely Fabulous Persian & Oriental Rug Cleaning has been caring for Persian, Oriental, silk and antique rugs since 1989. We provide specialist rug care throughout Marlow and all SL7 postcode areas, with a convenient appointment-based collection and return service.
Your rug is collected from your home and taken to our dedicated cleaning facility, where it undergoes thorough dust removal, specialist washing and controlled drying. This careful process is particularly suitable for valuable rugs with delicate fibres, older dyes or deeply embedded dirt.
Alongside specialist cleaning, we offer fibre protection, pet stain and odour treatment, moth treatment, rug pads and underlay, and rug storage. We can also carry out rug repairs, including fringe and side cord repairs and re-weaving where required. Once the work is complete, we return your rug to your Marlow home.

The types of rugs we work with include Persian rugs, such as Tabriz, Heriz, Keshan/Kashan, Isfahan, Antique Sarouk, Bidjar, Mashhad, Arak, Kashmar, Nain, Nain Silk and Meshkabad. We also clean Ziegler rugs and fine silk rugs such as Qum/Qom, Turkish Hereke and Kashmir.

Frequently asked questions
Do you collect rugs from homes in Marlow?
Yes, we provide free collection and return in Marlow across all SL7 postcodes. We visit by appointment, move furniture where needed, lift and roll the rug carefully and take it to our dedicated facility for specialist cleaning, then return it to the room once the work is complete.
Can you clean silk rugs in Marlow?
Yes, silk rugs are one of the specialist rug types we handle. Delicate fibres and sensitive colours benefit from off-site cleaning and controlled drying, so we plan the process around the rug's fibre, condition and likely colour behaviour rather than using more aggressive carpet cleaning methods.
Can stains and pet odours be treated too?
Yes, many rugs from Marlow come to us with spills, pet odours or general dull soiling. We can talk through the issue and explain the likely route after seeing photos and hearing what the rug is made from, how old the problem is and whether home products were used.
